Description
Colour: Pale pink with clear hues. Nose: Perfumed with freesia, honeysuckle, red berries, strawberries, stone fruit, orange zest and red cherries. Palate: Sweet ripe raspberry on entry with stone fruit and a hint of lemon. Complex with lovely mineral acidity, textural phenolics and a long cranberry and strawberry finish.

Harvest Notes
The fruit (100% Pinot Noir Clones 667 and 114) was hand harvested on March 26th 2020.
Viticulture
Georgetown Vineyard is farmed according to NZ sustainable standards.
Vinification
The wine was whole bunch pressed and the resulting juice was inoculated with selected wine yeast.
Maturation
68% of the juice was stainless steel tank fermented with the balance of 32% undergoing barrel fermentation in older French oak barriques. The fermentation was stopped retaining 5.1 g/l of residual sugar.
